Online Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal + Partner Prenatal Yoga

Part yoga class, part birth education, part inner work session=Prenatal Yoga.

In this session you will have the opportunity to reconnect to yourselves as individuals as well as partners, couples, or pregnancy support people. We will explore yoga poses for the pregnant and non-pregnant body, breathing practices for mental and physical regulation, supportive postures for labor, and coping strategies for both individuals.

This is a unique way to find grounding and spend time with your partner or birth support person during your pregnancy journey.

Optional (but very helpful!) props to have on hand. I am not affiliated with any of these companies.

We will also reserve a few minutes at the end of class for reflection and discussion.

Monthly membership available for $85.

Why Prenatal Yoga?

Prenatal Yoga

The experience of pregnancy can be a rollercoaster of physical, emotional, and spiritual changes. Managing all of these changes means that it’s even more vital that we create space to care for ourselves. Prenatal yoga is an amazing way to connect to the needs of your body, your baby, and your spirit. Safely strengthening, opening, and relaxing postures accommodate the needs of your changing body and help to prepare you for birth.

Postnatal Yoga

The needs of the postpartum person are unlike that of any other time in life. Nutritional, structural, and emotional support are needed to help mama replenish the reserves and move into the next phase of motherhood and life.

Postnatal yoga addresses specific needs of the postpartum experience through breathwork and sequences that stabilize, strengthen, and relax key areas of the body. It is critical that this time is filled with rejuvenating foods and practices that will replenish depleted resources from pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding.

Sequences included targeted movement to address diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and pelvic floor concerns (prolapse, incontinence, pain). If you have specific concerns about these issues please find more info here.

Currently, Postnatal Yoga is only available in private sessions.
